Deepti and Samir’s engagement session in NYC was a blast – even if we did have to dodge raindrops! Personally, I love the rain – rainy days always seem kind of magical to me, couples huddle closer together under umbrellas, adults do their best to avoid puddles – while kids actively seek them out – and everything sparkles when it stops…
The rain did put a damper on our plans to go to the Brooklyn Bridge, but we had more than enough beauty and inspiration to work with in and around Grand Central Terminal (and yes, I finally learned to stop calling it a “Station”)…
Thanks so much to Deepti & Samir for taking on a rainy NYC with us! We cannot wait for your wedding day!
With love,
Laura & Paul

Hey there Nelz – nothing special really – when we deal with bad weather, we just try to bring the bare minimum. Since Paul and I always shoot together, we can trade off and one of us can hold the umbrella! 😉
Thanks so much for your kind words about our work!
