We apologize for not blogging as quickly as we would like – we are working hard on editing images and albums, so the blog gets pushed a little further down on the list!
Find “Part 1” of this post here: Stacey & Brian at Liberty House – Hoboken, NJ – Part 1
We had the pleasure of shooting Stacey & Brian’s North New Jersey wedding in Hoboken at Liberty House. Paul and I simply love this venue! It has a beautiful ballroom that isn’t fussy or overdone, a great staff, and beautiful views of New York City…. which in Stacey & Brian’s case, weren’t all that visible due to the rain, but we certainly made the most of it!
This may not make all of our brides happy to hear this, but Paul and I love the rain! Its a chance for us to stretch ourselves creatively and “make it work.” We are always up for a challenge, and really, what is more romantic than getting cozy under a big black umbrella?
As night fell, the atmosphere of the room transformed into nothing short of utterly romantic…
Love this fun picture! Paul and I always laugh during an edit when we get to the “Bon Jovi pictures” (everyone pointing in the air, singing along during the “whooooa” of Living on a Prayer), but we now have progressed to Beyonce’s Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It) – so cute! DJ Jason Fioto from Generation Events did an incredible job keeping the dance floor full – we highly recommend him!
We got to work with the fabulous Jenny Orsini of Pampered Bride Weddings (who you would most definitely recognize from the TV show “Whose Wedding is it Anyway?”) and her incredibly on-the-ball staff. And I just noticed that one of our images of Stacey made it on to the top of their blog! Check it out: https://pamperedbride.blogspot.com/
Thank you to Stacey and Brian for having us be a part of their most fabulous day!
A lot of brides ask us if we’ll travel to North Jersey or NYC – and the answer is YES! We love to travel (even if its just bridges and tunnels!), and welcome the opportunity to work at new locations.
I just love your style. The color, the fun! You rock!
Laura, the pictures from this wedding have become retty much the signature for Liberty House. We only hope that one day our paths will meet to leave fabulous memories in one lucky bride’s life.
Thanks so much Limelight! – we hope to work with you soon!
