Sarah & John’s wedding day was just a breath away from the havoc of Hurricane Irene, thankfully their Friday wedding was in the beautiful calm before the storm – and they made the most of every moment!  Sarah & John won’t likely be able to leave on their scheduled honeymoon to Antigua on time, but they wouldn’t let that bring them down for even a second.  They decided to focus on their day, which turned out to be perfect.  Their good attitudes were positively contagious!

Sarah & John started their day at the Hyatt Regency, which was just minutes away from Liberty House.  The bridal suite also had the most incredible views of the skyline…

We immediately fell in love with Sarah’s pleated and tiered Pronovias gown.  The silk flower in her hair and heirloom brooch she added to her bouquet were the perfect finishing touches.

The backdrop of the New York City skyline was the perfect setting for their outdoor ceremony and The Liberty House (one of our most favorite New Jersey venues) of course hosted a most amazing reception…

Here are a few more selections from this beautiful couple on their gorgeous day…

We got a beautifully colorful sunset as a result of the coming storm, so it looks like Irene gave the couple a little present after all!
