Laura and I have just gotten settled in Paris. We’ll be here shooting Celiné and Phillipe’s wedding just outside of Mont Saint-Michel. We’ll get to live like real Parisians for the next week since they are kind enough to loan us their flat (2 blocks from Tour Eiffel) as they prepare for the wedding.

Today Laura and I also arranged to shoot the engagement session for Adrienne & Doug. They are from the Philly area but are currently living in Belgium so a short train ride should make for a wonderful opportunity to get some great shots in Paris. Their wedding will be later this year in Philadelphia but we’re really excited to do our first “destination engagement” session with them!

In a few days Anton & Abby Lorimer will be joining us for a bit of sightseeing. Next week we all head down to Rennes for the wedding. Anton will be making one of his awesome promotional videos of us at work so we can connect better with our long distance clients. We’re so excited to be working with such a talented videographer/friend and yet we’re both super nervous about being on the “wrong” side of a camera. We’re both kind of in shock how all these things came together for this trip, I hope we have the time to keep up with the blog while we are here. We might not be able to respond as quick with phone calls but we will be sure to keep up on emails.

Since we just got in yesterday, and Celiné was kind enough to spend her day showing us the best local spots, we didn’t have a chance to take any photos yet. So we’ll leave you all with a clip that basically sums up our total knowledge of the French language.
